The Club: .
• Sandhills FC is dedicated to the philosophy of developing players to their full potential. We want
to provide a place for all players interested in playing the game of soccer. Whether that is at a
recreational level, or more, it is the goal of Sandhills FC to carve a path for those players to
follow.
• We want to bring the recognition from the major soccer cities that the Sandhills can provide good,
fundamentally and technically sound players to the region. As well as providing a place to play for
those players that just have a passion for the game.
• The Sandhills Futbol Club is the creation of Southern Pines own Todd Abbey. The vision
is to establish a soccer club that will bring a sense of what Todd has been a part of for
past 7 years in Richmond, VA with the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club. Tradition, Pride,
and a true sense of Club first. Where your colors and logo are what you stand for, and
in turn determines the professionalism and confidence in how you carry yourself.
• Through a national consultant panel, this club combines the best ideas and
fundamentals of some of the top soccer clubs in the country. As we move forward,
and are able to bring more understanding of the game to our area, it will be under
the following key elements that we conduct our business and instill in our players:
Passion, Concentration, Confidence, Inspiration, Unity, Leadership, and Control.
